Job Description:
A company is looking for a Staff Accountant to assist in
financial statement preparation and analysis in the entertainment
industry.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate and timely property financial statements and
maintain accounting records in accordance with GAAP
Research variances to budget, initiate month-end journal entries,
and monitor payroll and marketing accrual accounts
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and report potential
issues to management
Required Qualifications
Associate's Degree (A.A.) or at least one year of relevant
experience, or equivalent combination of education and
experience
Must be at least 21 years of age
Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, and
Outlook)
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a
fast-paced environment
