Job Description:

Join a medical community renowned for its compassionate care! Due to a physician retirement, we are seeking a dedicated physician with an active Illinois license and/or IMLC to start as soon as November. Practice Setting

• Inpatient medical setting in Iowa treating adults only
  • Average of 0-3 patient consultations daily
  • Inpatient rounds for an average of 5-10 patients per day
  • Full hospital surgical support staff
    • Charting: CERNER Cases and Procedures
      • Types of cases consist of Cardiac (open heart), thoracic (chest surgery) required, and vascular (AAA bypass)
        • Surgeries preferred, but not required
        • The provider will not be required to see patients in the clinic, but will be available as backup for the NP Schedule
          • Ongoing, 6-12 month assignment with 5 on and 5 off
          • Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
            • Weeknight and 24-hour weekend call coverage for inpatient rounding, consults, and emergent cases Travel and Lodging
              • Travel and lodging support is provided
              • Inviting community offering a friendly atmosphere Requirements
                • Board Certified or Board Eligible Within 5 Years
                • IMLC or Illinois medical license JN -5
