• Job Details
• Psych nursing position available in Cedar Rapids, IA.
• Virtual Interview process followed by Auto Offer.
• Common Diagnosis/Treatment includes psychosis, schizophrenia, substance induced psychosis, bipolar, major depression.
• Nurse to Patient Ratio: collaborative team with team having 4-6 patients.
• Charting: EPIC.
• Areas of Float Support include potential to float to older adult unit and child/adolescent unit.
• Special Procedures: ECT is offered, but off the unit and the patient is recovered prior to returning to the unit.

    • Schedule Information
    • SHIFT: 12N, every 3rd weekend.
    • LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT: 13 weeks.
    • AVAILABLE START DATES: Any Monday.
      • Unit Specific Information
      • The Psychiatric Unit has 21-30 beds.
      • # of Beds: 21-30
      • Specialized units include older adult unit and child/adolescent unit where float support may be required.
        • Additional Details
        • 60 mile radius rule- will take locals at 10% rate reduction.
        • IA or compact license in hand.
