TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, 52402 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12D/N rotating, Every Other Weekend Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Not specified License: IA or compact license in hand Certifications: Not specified Must-Have: Job Description: - Provide nursing care for patients with common diagnoses such as post-operative CAB, thoracotomy, mastectomy and breast reconstruction, general surgery, vascular surgery, gynecology surgery, urology surgery, ENT surgery, dialysis, and peritoneal dialysis. - Handle medical overflow situations as needed. - Support a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 in a 41-50 bed unit. - Utilize EPIC for charting and maintain accurate patient records. - Follow the designated scrub color guidelines: Blue-Caribbean, Blue-Light, Blue-Navy. - Participate in the RN and PCT STL Float Pool for area support. - Conduct special procedures, such as chest tube insertion. - Engage in a virtual interview process with an auto offer mechanism. - Participate in a comprehensive orientation program with specified orientation hours.
