Job Description:
Non-Invasive Cardiology opening in Cedar Rapids, IA - Cedar
Rapids; Des Moines 100m Overview and Benefits - Established team of
15 physicians and 8 Advanced Practitioners - Established practice
serving the Cedar Rapids community, and satellite outreach clinics
in Anamosa, Manchester, and 3 other communities.- Diverse practice
covers sub-specialization in interventional cardiology, structural
heart disease, peripheral vascular and electrophysiology.- Part of
a large multi-specialty group, including primary care, providing a
built-in referral base.- Experienced staff, both clinical and
non-clinical, who know the patients and the community- Full-time
position, including dedicated administrative time, with flexible
scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access- Fully integrated
system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care
coordination Responsibilities: - Clinic hours: M-F 830AM-5PM-
Shared call among the providers- Practice is a mix of inpatient and
outpatient- Ability to work as a team member to improve the health
of the people and communities we serve- Evaluates, interprets and
coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations
regarding patient care- Patient-focused, friendly and willing to
collaborate in a team environment- Excellent communication (written
and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills Qualifications:
- M.D. or D.O.- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology;
Board exam must be completed within one year of hire date- Ability
to work as a team member- Excellent communication, written and
verbal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
