Locums - Davenport, Iowa, OB/GYN Hospitalist Opening (IMLC
Accepted)Clinical Role: ASAP - Ongoing NO OVERTIMEFacility will
allow for 24-hour (7a-7a) shifts and/or 12-hour shifts (7a-7p)
depending on the candidate's preferenceShift Details: MUST BE
AVAILABLE TO WORK MON-FRI WITH SOME WEEKENDS AS WELL. 24 hour Call
at a flat rate (inclusive of all hours worked) with a nice sleep
room on-site OR 12 hour Call at a flat rate (inclusive of all hours
worked)Clinic shifts are available to physicians in between their
24/12 hour shifts, if they desire, but not required or preferred by
clientPractice Setting: OB & GYN in Hospital, 24 hours of
coverageTrauma Level/Designation: Level IIICall Schedule: available
1-2 months in advanceCall Ratio: 1:5Average Number of Scheduled
Patients Per Day: On call work onlyNumber of Physicians in
Practice: 4Other OB/GYNs Will Not Typically Provide Coverage During
Locums Coverage DatesNumber of APPs Provide Coverage: 1-2 CNMOnsite
Lab & Ultrasound: YesDescribe Support Staff: Labor & Delivery, post
partum, OR, ERPercentage of Practice is Low Risk Pregnancy:
40%Percentage of Practice is High Risk Pregnancy: 60%Percentage of
Patients are C-Section: Depends on the physicianAverage Number of
Nursery Admissions Per Day: 2-5Documentation System/EMR: CERNERWhen
Locums is on call, they will most likely have a resident on call
with themOB/GYN Coverage Duties:Triage and deliver Genesis OB
patients (Average 65-80 deliveries a month)Cover ER calls for
OB/GYNRounding on Genesis patients on unitCover No doc patients
(Approx 1 or less per day)Circumcisions if able (Not mandatory)24
hour call shift in house- will consider 12 hours in house if we can
find additional locumRequired Obstetrics Procedures: Low Risk
Pregnancy (i.e. History of Twins, Toxemia, Pyelonephritis,
etc.)High Risk Pregnancy (i.e. with Toxemia, Diabetes, Class II or
Higher Cardiacs, Chronic Lung Problems, Chronic Renal Disease,
etc.)FHR Interpretation - NST/CST/FSEOB ultrasounds - Performance
of Level I/Screening (Viability)AmniocentesisRequired Labor and
Delivery Procedures: Routine Delivery -Vaginal, Low Forceps,
Decision-Making for C-SectionComplicated Delivery -C-Section,
Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions, etcVBAC'sRepair of 3rd & 4th
