Orthopedic Surgery - Foot & Ankle opening in Waterloo, Iowa 55 miles from Cedar Rapids Position Details: - Full-time multi-specialty opportunity- Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM- Call coverage with work/life balance- 204 bed Hospital, Level 3 trauma center with established Hospitalist Team- 12 bed ICU with intensivist- Support from a full range of dedicated specialists and subspecialists- Excellent OR access with experienced staff- Ambulatory surgery center for outpatient procedures available- Onsite Physical therapy, full-scale diagnostic laboratory, and imaging services including MRI and CT- Fully integrated system with clinic and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination Responsibilities - Rewarding mix between outpatient, inpatient, and surgery- Flexible work week-with built in surgery days at hospital and ASC- General Orthopedic surgery with opportunity to build in sub-specialty interests- Full range of clinical services include fracture management, total hips & knees, upper & lower extremities, trigger finger & carpal tunnel release- In office procedures include injections, casting, suture removal, fluid withdraw from joint- Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve Qualifications: - MD or DO- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery- Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa- Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice- Eligible to work in the United States Compensation/Benefits: - Salary guarantee with ability to exceed on an innovative compensation program- Attractive incentive package- A competitive Total Rewards program offers benefits that align with your needs and priorities, no matter what stage of life you are in.- Generous time off and CME allowance, malpractice insurance, retirement contributions and more- Dedicated provider resources to positively impact providers work-life balance- Eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness, including a free third-party service for loan restructuring and consolidation.- A commitment to ensuring you have a voice that is heard regardless of role, race, gender, religion, or sexual orientation.- Support and development opportunities that are a crucial part of delivering a remarkable employment experience.- A culture guided by uncompromising values and unwavering belief in doing whats right for the people we serve.
