Insurance Underwriter Underwriting Surety Contract Surety Bonds Construction Surety Commercial Insurance License & Permit bonds Bid, performance and payment bonds Commercial performance bonds Large appeal court bonds _ .

Seeking experienced professional to oversee the Commercial Surety department and staff, including strategy development and implementation.

Activities:

*** Proactively manage book of business including monitoring loss activity and trends in the market segment.

*** Assure that policy accounts are underwritten according to market segment strategies and guidelines.

*** Collaborate with the Regional Vice President to develop market segment strategy.

*** Develop and implement long and short term territorial plans to achieve budget objectives.

*** Anticipate resource needs and allocate financial and human resources in support of strategy.

*** Develop and maintain agent, broker and client relationships to support implementation of strategy.

*** Identify and capture new business opportunities and effectively cross sell Bond market segment and other products.

*** Attract and retain highly skilled people.

*** Set high standards of performance, evaluate performance effectively, provide timely candid feedback, and make compensation decisions.
